Terms of Service

These terms explain what Wicarax provides, what we expect from you, and how our relationship works. By creating an account or using Wicarax, you agree to them.

About These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Wicarax. They govern your use of the Wicarax website, dashboard, integrations, API-related functionality, playground, and embeddable assistant experiences (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Service.

What Wicarax Provides

Wicarax provides tools for creating, configuring, operating, and monitoring AI assistants. You can build assistants that answer using knowledge you provide, such as documents, plain text, and question-and-answer material, and make them available through the Wicarax dashboard, integrations, API-related functionality, the playground, and embeddable experiences on your own websites or services.

We work to keep the Service running and to improve it over time. This means features can be added, changed, or removed, and parts of the Service can be limited or discontinued.

Your Account

You need an account to use most parts of the Service. Wicarax supports passwordless sign-in by email and, where available, connected third-party authentication providers.

When you use Wicarax, you agree to:

  • Provide account information that is accurate and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in details and access to your account secure.
  • Use your account in line with these Terms.
  • Take responsibility for activity carried out through your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at support@wicarax.app so we can help you secure it.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you provide through the Service. This includes knowledge documents, plain text, question-and-answer material, instructions and configuration for your assistants, website configuration, and anything else you add.

You give Wicarax the rights it needs to operate the Service for you: to host, process, transform, retrieve, and use your content so we can run your assistants, show your workspace back to you, and provide the features you ask for. This permission is limited to operating and improving the Service, and it ends when your content is deleted from the Service, apart from records we must keep for legal, security, or operational reasons.

You are responsible for your content. You must have the right to use it, and it must not violate the law or these Terms.

AI-Generated Responses

Wicarax assistants answer using AI. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate, and it can change as the technology and providers behind it change. We do not guarantee that a response is correct, complete, or suitable for your purpose.

You decide how your assistants are configured: the knowledge they use, the instructions they follow, the integrations you enable, and where you use them. You are responsible for reviewing whether the output is fit for your use case.

AI responses are not professional advice. Do not rely on them as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and do not present them as such to others.

Embeds, Integrations, and Credentials

You can make your assistants available through embeddable experiences, integrations, and API-related functionality. You are responsible for where and how you deploy them, and for making sure your own website or service gives any notices or permissions that apply.

Credentials that are meant to remain private, such as API keys, must be kept confidential and restricted to the people and systems that need them. If you believe a credential has been exposed, rotate or revoke it through the dashboard as soon as possible.

Plans and Usage Limits

Wicarax offers different plans, and each plan can set its own limits, for example on the number of requests, the number of assistants, feature availability, allowed domains or origins, and rate limits. Limits can differ between plans and can change as the Service evolves.

The plan information shown in your Wicarax dashboard is the authoritative description of what your current plan includes. You agree not to bypass or attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or other access restrictions.

Billing and Payments

Wicarax offers paid plans and a wallet balance that you can add to with top-ups. Plans can be billed monthly or yearly, and paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them. Your billing history is available in the dashboard.

Plan Changes

You can change your plan from the dashboard. Depending on the type of change, it may take effect immediately or at a later billing boundary. The confirmation shown before you confirm explains the amount and the timing that apply, so please review it before confirming.

Cancellations

If you cancel a paid subscription, access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and automatic renewal stops. When that period ends, your account can return to the available free or default plan.

Payments and Refunds

The amounts, billing periods, and renewal details that apply are shown in the dashboard before you confirm. Wicarax does not automatically issue refunds or wallet credits when you change or cancel a plan. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at support@wicarax.app and we will review it.

Promotional and Redeem Codes

Wicarax may offer promotional or redeem codes. Some codes add credits to your wallet; others grant access to a paid plan or another reward for a limited period.

Some codes replace access rather than adding to it. If you redeem a code while you have a paid plan or another reward active, the code may replace that plan or reward instead of stacking with it. Any remaining paid access, existing reward, or unused allowance that is replaced may be forfeited.

Important
Before applying a replacement, Wicarax shows you what the redemption will do, including what will be replaced and what access you will have after the promotional period, and asks you to confirm. If the confirmation says that remaining access, an existing reward, or unused allowance will be forfeited, confirming the redemption applies that replacement, and it may do so without a refund or wallet credit. If you do not want to lose the access described in the confirmation, do not confirm the redemption.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any law or regulation.
  • Abuse the Service or other people, including by harassing or harming others.
  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that are not yours, or otherwise compromise the Service or other users.
  • Interfere with the Service, including through malicious automation or traffic that is not part of normal use.
  • Upload or share malware or other harmful code.
  • Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, including by submitting personal information about others without a proper basis.
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass access controls, usage limits, or rate limits.

We may investigate suspected violations and restrict access when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

Third-Party Services

Parts of the Service rely on third-party service providers. These include providers for authentication, payment processing, AI processing, hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, and operational monitoring.

These providers operate their own services and may be governed by their own terms and policies. We choose them with care, but their independent services are outside our control.

Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to the Service when it is reasonably necessary, for example to protect security, prevent abuse, address non-payment, comply with legal requirements, or respond to a material violation of these Terms. Some billing states can also limit access; for example, an account without an active plan can fall back to the free or default plan.

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to deactivate your account. When access ends, your right to use the Service also ends. Some records may be kept afterwards as described in the Privacy Policy and as needed for legitimate operational, security, and legal purposes.

Intellectual Property

The Wicarax application, software, interface, design, branding, and related technology are owned by Wicarax and its licensors. While you comply with these Terms, you may use the Service for your own purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Service except where the law allows it.

You keep ownership of your content, as described in “Your Content” above. Nothing in these Terms transfers your content to us.

Service Availability and Disclaimers

Wicarax is provided on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it running and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted, timely, or free of errors. Availability can be affected by maintenance, changes, and failures in services we depend on.

To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded, including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Features may be changed or discontinued over time.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wicarax is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when the Service changes or when the law requires it. When we update them, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Service.
